Hi hi!
A not so gal related post but I hope you still enjoy it!
My partner and I recently went up north
to our family members cabin!
We went to go look at the old motorcycle up there that my partner is interested in fixing up and possibly riding!

The bike has been there and not riden for..
quite some time so it was probably going to be a big project.
We got some supplies and invited my friend Patches to join us
since he knows so much about bikes!!
On our way we stopped and this cool store
called SWAIN'S!
It was a giant old general store and WOW
They had like...everything!
We also stopped for some
yummy breakfast!
The menu was on a newspaper w
The rest of the ride was so gorgeous!
After we arrived we had to do some cleaning
and general cabin maintenance first.
After the cleaning, we started to inspect the bike!
We looked at the spark plugs which
surprisingly worked still!!
But also it was out of gas and oil...
After filling both we still ran into some troubles since
both were leaking as well.
We still tried to start it but no true luck besides
a couple pop sounds.
We made a list and inventoried what needs to be done..
let's just say
Its a lot sadly.
After that, my partner cooked some steaks
and peppers on the grill.
It was his birthday too so we had some cake!
We also made a couple smores but
they were mostly for me ww
We then put together our sleeping set ups!
Cot vs. Air mattress vs. Sleeping pad
This was the perfect chance for me to try out
my new sleeping bag too!
Its the Big Agnes Echo Park 20F
We noticed it's Shimarin colors from Yurucamp!
Yay!
We watched some weird movie
I barely even remember www
Turns out my sleeping bag kept me very warm!
Yaaay!
The next day we packed up, chatted and headed back home!
It was a really fun time and I love
being in the peaceful woods!
As you may have seen me bring up a couple times,
I have a big moto camping trip coming up this spring!
A lot of my free time has been going into researching the best gear and
tips on camping, moto-camping and hiking.
I figured if its light enough to hike with,
that's even better to bring on my bike!

When I got my sleeping bag,
I also got an amazing deal on my tent!
I got the Nemo Osmo Dagger 2p!

Its a very expensive and fancy tent..like 500 USD..
But REI had a sale and I stacked a coupon with it,
so I ended up getting it for 250 USD!
I was so excited!
It packs so small!
I set it up in the living room for practice!
This tent had all the things I was truly looking for!
Small pack down, light, rectangle floor, vestibules for gear,
a vent, and the plus black mesh on top for star gazing!
I can't wait to test it all out!

Next, I needed to install some luggage carrying
racks on my bike!
I got the h2c for my front rack and
The g craft for my rear rack.
Its hard finding in-depth reviews for after market parts so I made my choices based on the look of sturdiness..I think?
It took me a while to install the front rack because I didn't have the right tools, so it took a couple trips to the store but I finally got it on!
Yay!

I was so excited, so I tied down my new REI Flex chair
with some Rok-Straps!
I am obsessed with the rok-straps!
They make everything so easy!!!
I took my bike for a spin at a scenic look out to test everything!
This is one of my favorite spots!

Soon I will be testing out all my gear and pack
up my bike for a test-run moto-camping trip!
This will be to prep for my even bigger trip!
Stay tuned for both and thanks
for reading!
