Dreamroll 2025
This post has been long awaited and
I will do my best to make it as short as I can!
I had been planning and looking forward
to this trip since fall of 2024.
I was so determined to get all the gear and supplies I
needed for a successful motocamp trip!
As you may have seen in a previous post I even did a
practice camping trip too just to test all my gear.
I was prepared to do this trip alone if I had to, but luckily I met some amazing female rider friends from some group rides.
Me and my friend Violet met up for dinner often and did a lot of pre- planning, then she let me know another rider K-lee wanted to join!
The more the merrier!
I did my best to help them prepare too!
⏔⏔⏔ Preparation ⏔⏔⏔
I definitely had more items than my first camping trip so getting everything evenly balanced and strapped to the bike was a challenge.
First I placed the bags horizontal and even though it felt even,
it still had a very sketchy tipping point I was nervous about.
So took it all off and swapped the bags to be vertical on the bike.
I lost a lot more seat room but it was more solid.
I finished around 12am and went to bed..

The next day I got up and headed to our meeting spot (the gas station)
but I thought I forgot my fanny pack at home that
has all my money and cards in it.
I parked my bike and ran back to the house only to
realize it was on my waist behind me.

This delayed me a bit but I still made it.
We all gassed up and hung out in the parking lot a bit
and drank energy drinks ww

By 9am we left!
I led the group since I'm the slowest and smallest bike
and I also knew the way to the campsite!
We did run into some problems on the way though...

We made a stop to use a restroom and get some shoes for my friend but then after I turned my bike off it wouldn't turn back on.
I was possibly too hot or worked
too hard with all the extra weight.
Luckily, I know how to push start my bike!
(maybe its a sad thing..)
After about 3 tries we got my bike back on!
But then I forgot the kickstand was down
and it died again (Its a safety feature).
Now became the new game.. NEVER TURN THE BIKE OFF!
Any stops after, I kept the bike running
no matter what ww
Unfortunately, I had to do a third rolling start after I accelerated
too slow at a red light and it died again.
But after a really quick bump again and were on our way!
We made it to camp successfully!!!
The ladies at check in were so kind and really
added to an unforgettable experience!

They even got some awesome photos of us checking in!
Thanks Fun Ride photography!

We picked a spot but had to move over a little since the soil
was rocky and we could not get our stakes in the ground..
We are next to the restrooms...
A little unaesthetic but very convenient!

Tour of inside my tent

The Girls and their setups!

and met a new friend!
ASHLEY!
She offered to take our pic and we
took some photos of her too.

a DJ, a pole and a bar!

There was also some delicious food trucks!
We got food and a drink pronto!!

Shout-out to the badass motorcycle lawyer Janelle
and were doing demonstrations and offered to
check out bikes for people having issues
opening for the main events that it seemed a bit quiet at first.
danced and played some games.

Cute baby frogs!
By day 2 they had legs but I forgot to get a photo!

It started to get waaay too hot so we went back and changed!
I changed into a top I got at the merch booth!
Don't bring any clothing because we
bought so much there at the booth!]
around camp <3

Later I tried the workshop on how
to plug a hole in a tire.
It was very educational and VERY DIFFICULT!
One of the hardest things I've done.
I almost thought I couldn't do it..
I felt quite accomplished later though!
but with very sore hands...

They also had a raffle and I won first prize which
was a tire repair kit!
K-Lee one second prize and got a co2 filler.
SO NOW WE ARE PREPARED ON THE WAY HOME ww
Next they were hosting a "Twerk-Shop"
I used to dance a lot but it was never
any sort of sexy style so I did learn some
new moves ww

After this we did some drinking and
chatting with so many kind people!

We also brought our bikes down to the infamous
DREAMROLL sign to take some photos!

One girl was so kind and let me
sit on her adorable dirt bike!

It started getting a bit chilly so we went back to
camp and put on some layers and munched on snacks!

I love my new camo jacket i got from
Heck Yeah Motorcycle Club

Now that more people had arrived by the evening,
We walked around and looked at more bikes

We headed back to the main events area
because we could hear a drag show starting!

My photos were not the greatest from the drag
show and my camera died shortly after.
But all the performances were great!

Ashley got called on stage to help with a game!
The game was to get an oreo in your mouth
from your forehead with no hands w

[my blurry photos make it look like a satanic ritual w]

After some very mild partying and
maybe or maybe not trying out the pole..
We headed back to camp~

We sat around our tents and drank hot chocolate
Hearing wind hit my tent at
night was very cozy

Good morning with a gorgeous view~

Waking up was hilarious because we didn't
really discuss when we would be wake up
and after some rustling in our tents me and Violet
peeked our heads out and looked at each other at the same time
We had some dehydrated meals for breakfast!
We are nerds and got very excited to share them with
each other

I had Granola and Banana & Milk, while
I attempted to apply my make for the day!
I wanted to go heavier on make but it was going to be a VERY hot day
and I feared would smudge and melt off very soon!

Violet was the MVP for thinking of bringing a big umbrella..

We also spent some time chatting with our new neighbors
who arrived late Friday night!
They are so nice!
We decided to hit up the day 2 Workshop which was about
how to diagnose problems with your bike when
you are left stranded.
It was very informational once again!

After we went to another talk on First-Aid and Trauma response.
I am already First-Aid CPR Certified so a lot of it was
things I already knew so I decided to be a volunteer.
My other victim who volunteered was so nice
as we were dying from the heat.
They gave us a free first aid pack as a
gift for participating! Neat!
I got to meet this awesome woman named Jena!
She had this amazing Honda CT 90 from the 60's
that was reconstructed!

AND SHE LET ME RIDE IT???
It was amazing to ride and I did a loop around the camp.

That was some of the most fun riding I've had,
She did let me in on the much upgraded suspension!
[A stranger took a photo of me on it but it never fully sent to my phone because poor signal, so it is a photo lost to time,
unless I see her again next year w]
It was getting so hot, LAKE TIME FOR SURE!

I had my phone put away so I didn't get
any lake photos but it was refreshing and me and my friends
just took turns pushing each other around in floaties.
It was a great time!
By the time we got out they started preparing
the Jello-Wrestling.

The commentators were
Hulk Hogan and one of the Drag Queens - Sativa!
Yay!

I have never seen Jello-Wrestling in my life but
it was very intense to watch!

Another CT!
Violet actually volunteered to participate
"if they needed more people"
Her nickname was "Bones" w
She did not think she was going to get picked and when we heard the
roster we didn't hear her name so we thought she was safe..
Until they called her up.
We looked at each other and in unison said "OH SHIT"
She went up against "Vanessa The Messa"

They were both very equally matched so we had to do a
crowd vote on who the winner was.
It was Violet!
But she didn't last long in round 2 against
"Big Boob".
I'm very proud of her for trying but I have to say,
I don't think I'm inspired enough to try myself.
Everyone did a great job and it was fun to watch!
After the matches, I got a pretty sparkly
pink lemonade drink!

After some needed showers from the lake and JELLO Bath,
We went back to change clothes.
We all agreed we should bring our bikes down
for photos again as a group.
I think this moment was the highlight of our trip for me.
We got some of the best photos ever as the sun was setting.
It felt so fun and free just riding my bike around in the grass
(no gear on) and with my friends all around me.
It felt free, secluded, and l
like the perfect moment in time.

After bringing out bikes back,
Me and my friends took more photos of each other

I got a rolling shot of Ashley!

I got some cute pics of Symantha too!

And my new fiend Gina!
We bonded over Honda Trails!

These neighbors were super kind too!
I didn't get a photo of them with their set up
but I hope I see them again!

We bundled up then headed back down for the
second drag show!

It was an amazing time and the Queens were wonderful
and really love this event! It felt so special!
We got some photos later with the Queens too!
I tried my best to stay up as late as I could
but I started fading around Midnight/1am..

I decided to head back to camp but then I saw
how beautiful my bike looked in the moonlight
I spent the next 45 minutes laying in the grass taking
night shots of my bike.

I THINK they look pretty cool!
My friends came back to camp and we pretty much
all passed out, No hot Choco tonight, Just SLEEP!
⏔⏔⏔ Last Day ⏔⏔⏔
We got up pretty early in the morning, I went and got my free shirt
I forgot to grab and bumped into Ashley out by the lake.

Sitting with my new friend looking over the quiet foggy
lake was really nice.
But I had a lot to pack so I had to head back!
We were on a time crunch since this was supposed to be the hottest day
of the weekend and it was estimated to get around 90F
at around 12pm

Unfortunately the way my bag was packed very strategic, so I had to take everything out of my tent and bag, then re-pack it
and then load it onto my bike.
I will definitely do this a bit different next year!
It started getting so hot, my friends took shelter under a
makeshift fort they set up between
their bikes and a tarp and the umbrella.
I was so exhausted and sweating like crazy!
I felt like I almost passed out a few times, but
my friends were there with water and even food to share with me.
(dead)
It got to a point where I had to move my bike behind
a parked trailer so I could load and tie my bags down
out of the heat.
This made such a difference but at this point I was also
pouring water on my face and head
to prevent from passing out.
(dead)
I finally finished and the bike felt secure.
K-Lee also helped me fasten the straps SUPER tight!
I wished I took a photo of my
bike by the trailor.
The yellow bags looked so nice with the yellow flowers
all around. I drew a photo to illustrate it in my journal ww
On the road home we lost K-Lee after getting some
gas so we pulled over and contacted her and waited for her.
But then my bike died again!

And now it was SO HOT!
K-Lee helped me push start it again and after a couple tries
It worked, But then I stalled when trying to leave
So it died..again.
After a second push start I was luckily able to keep the bike
on the whole way home.
We had a brief good bye chat at a red light then
I turned off as they continued on the highway.
By the time I got home I looked like I had
just came back from a Mad Max movie ww
But it was such an amazing trip that I will never
ever forget and I cant wait till next year.
For dinner I got myself a congratulations meal
by ordering a lot of Sushi!

I cant wait until next year!
I know it was a long one, so thank you for reading!
