Hi Hi!
[*Unfortunately I lost a lot of photos from this day
because my phone images became corrupted and disappeared]
Back in July 2025 was the Ferry 2 Ferry ride!
A super crazy huge group ride where hundreds of riders do
a large group ride together around Washington!
I was so excited to join!

We met up and headed to one of the Ferry docs to
wait for another portion of riders.
I've never seen so many bikes/scooters at once in my life!
It felt like a sea of bikes and tail lights..
Just seeing that really made my heart flutter.
...
I love bikes so much!
It was a bit sketchy though because there were a lot of stunt riders doing wheelies and for some it caused some issues like slow downs and even a couple accidents.
It started to feel like a PVP war zone and
you just had to be very cautious!
We took a break at scenic beach area and got some lunch.
I got a terrible sandwich and some chips and soda.
It was fun to look at all the different
bikes and talk to riders.
During our lunch there were also
lots of wheelies happening ww
I rode my bike closer to them but when I took it into the main road, everyone in the street kept begging me to do a wheelie
I just fake sobbed and shouted that
I don't know how I'm sorry!!!
It was so funny!
Michael got some great shots of my on my bike
Its unfortunate that by the afternoon
everything would be so different.![]()
I debated on just going home or turning back since
my chain seemed a bit loose.
There was still another half of the ride and
I was having so much so I decided to continue
But we started riding into an area I've never been before.
It has many twisty spots.
I'm a newer rider and was doing ok for a bit,
until I hit the 2nd sharp twist...
I wasn't quite sure on the amount of lean and
speed I should have been using...
The drag pulled me onto the rocky shoulder and I flipped over my bike the moment my tire hit the soft dirt.
It was all so fast!
I saw my bike go under me in a blur, felt the impact, saw the ground scrape my visor, and next I'm just looking up
at the sky thru my helmet.![]()
Some kind people turned back to help me!
Also another person on a scooter crashed a few feet a head of me too!!
She was ok and able to finish the ride.
My hand felt very messed up.
I could barely move it and it was throbbing in pain.
Luckily a very kind couple was actually driving behind the ride
in their car to assist anyone in need.
They let me drive their car one handed and the husband rode my bike to the next close check point
(45 mins away)
We stopped at a OFC and I went inside to get some
frozen food to put on my hand.
My bike, helmet and clothes were completely scraped up.
Nothing too bad though.
No one could ride my bike back because the chain was too loose, so I called up a friend and we put my bike in the back of his truck.
And by "we" I mean a lot of kind friends and strangers
because I couldn't do much with my injury.
Thank you to everyone who helped!![]()
![]()
Once me and my bike got back to my place, I just took a
lot of meds and slowly started to feel the adrenaline wear off.
After a couple doctors visits it turns out my hand was broken but by the time that was clear, I was almost healed.
I went to an orthopedic Dr. and he just gave
me some hand exercises to do.
At about 5 months later my hand pretty
much feels back to normal!![]()
It's now spring/summer of 2026 and I'm just
now getting back to riding again!
I get a little nervous or anxious riding alone but when I relax and try to not over think it, my muscle memory kicks in and I ride better and more natural.
Im looking forward to the many adventures ahead
(just at my own pace..)
Thank you for reading!
