Hi hi!
So I know what you're thinking ..
Wow! Don't you already have a motorcycle?
Yes, I actually have two!
A Honda Monkey 125 and my Suzuki Tu250x
But, I always still thought about getting a Honda Super Cub!
It was the bike I practiced on and took my test on!
(thanks to my great friend Patches)
But I never stop thinking about how
much I love them and want one.
Recently it appears they are not selling current models
at dealerships this year of 2026
That brought some mild scarcity issues and everyone was wondering why they are suddenly silently unavailable for new.
So just in case they do become discontinued to the States in the future,
I decided to just LOOK at the old
Facebook market place...
There was one I was interested in and happened to be the cool
Dark Navy color but it was in Spokane..
..like 6 hours away.
But I also saw a seller with two.
So me and Patches decided to hit him up and go take a look!
For my final determination I wanted to ride his Cub
just one more time to see if I was sure.
So we rode around and got lunch!
It was decided, let's go look!

We drove out to Carnation which was so beautiful!
He had both bikes out on display!
We inspected them and turns out they were
pretty much brand new!
He said he got them for him and his wife to scoot around with, but after they moved more rural, they didn't take them out as much.
Both had just about 7 miles on them.
We jumped them to made sure they started.
[Success!]
He included new batteries too!
(spoilers: they were the wrong kind...)
One was listed for 3k with a missing panel and the other was 3.3k.
I brought 3.3K just in case, so I had the option on to choose
in case one was better than the other.
Then he mentioned how he wanted to sell them as a pair.
I told him I only brought enough for one...
Then he said, "okay how about I sell you both for 3.3k?"
Two new bikes, 7 miles, for 3.3?!?!?!?
I said "let me talk to my driver and make sure
we can even fit two on the truck"
They fit.
We made sure they fit w
He also asked if I wanted to look
at the mini donkeys and sheep on his property
SO CUTE!
So we drove back and I am
now a proud owner of two Super Cubs!
I made a joke before we left,
how I was going to "go copy paste a super cub"
Since I have two it looks like I actually did!
So I actually named the bikes "Copy" and "Paste"
Ive been working on both the bikes at Patches place to try
and get them nice and ready to bring home!
One of the days, we changed the batteries and I put on the new plates
and test rode Copy for a while!

On another day I went over and we changed the oil
on both bikes and hung out for a bit!
Afterwards I got some dinner & beer!
I love agedashi tofu so much!
On 4th of July weekend we took Copy back to my house
and I gave her a much needed wash!
She also needs new tires asap!
There's a little bit of dry rot since it appears the
prior owner didn't keep them garaged.

The next day, I took Copy out for a ride and it was so much fun and definitely helped my confidence for riding again!
