Wow what a fun way to start off the new year,
but with a new anime convention!

I had been hearing word about this since last fall and was really curious to how the turn out was going to be.
This convention was at a location much more south of Seattle and
much easier for some to commute to and

The town is not very popular though but I was excited to
fully hype up the first year!
Zero expectations and the entry fee
was only $30 a day!

My friend Seana came over the night before
to spend the night so she could come with us.
That night we tried a new Mexican place and
IT WAS SO YUMMY!
I had fun staying up with her chatting and
brushing our super tangled wigs together w

The next day we got ready together!
I planned a decora look and she was cosplaying Stocking.
Sometimes I sketch out what I want to wear for upcoming events.
I wanted to share the one I made for Anime WA!
I'm so happy with how my outfit turned out!
I really wanted to do a sporty primary rainbow look.

but she was really mad at me for changing my appearance...

Once we were ready we left for the convention!
[Im so glad we did because the food at the con center was so pricey!]
Once we paid for parking, we headed to the con center!
It was so exciting seeing an actual con in this space.
I had mentioned before, it would be cool to see a con there one day.
And now there is!
The moment we walked in, I was instantly recognized!
It was such a flattering experience!!!
We met these two lovely friends who said they follow me
They are so sweet and have such cool styles!
I had such an amazing time chatting with them, but we had
to finish getting our badges and explore the con ww
There was basically no line, and we were given very cheap lanyards.
But at least we were given some (unlike kumoricon..)
Me and Seana wandered around the expo haul in awe!
We joked about how this could either be Sakuracons
next competitor or the next Dashcon ww.
My friends said they were in the Artist Alley
so we made our way there!
I ran into the adorable mrtoado in the AA!
The Artist Alley location was so cute!
We thought the AA was going to be just this nice well lit hallway,
but then we turned a corner and saw a massive room!
The main events room had more AA, vendors and the autograph lines!
It was nice seeing everything in the same vicinity!
I think that helped make the convention feel more big and busy and madeit easier to find people/ things!
I didnt take make photos of inside the AA or Vendors hall..
I really enjoyed the vendors as there were so many booths I had never seen before are other cons!
This table had a bunch of cute blind boxes!
They had a lot of the doll style ones and just

After exploring the main area, we took a break
and I opened my doll gotcha!
Me and Seana also got some super cute photos!
I sobered up then drove back to my place
and Seana stayed the night again.
Overall the con was really fun, but I LOVE small cons!
I love meeting new people and talking to strangers~
I do wish there was some better panels
or Karaoke and dance related events.
I would really love to go back next year.
I am hoping they have it at the same location!

Its on an old camera from 2009 and I'm really bad at filming

Once my other friends were done eating, we hung out at their hotel room
so I could charge my phone and camera.
My friend Mauller was so funny and offered us caffeinated seltzers and stroop waffles. Such a great host <3
Once devices were charged up and had our whole group,
we headed over to one of my favorite bar/restaurants, Mcminamins!
The rest of the evening was filled with bar hopping,
good conversation and tasty appetizers- till
we were about ready to pass out ww
