A couple weeks ago I went to see
Avril Lavigne in concert!!!
I have never seen her before but grew up with her and
surprisingly know most of her songs to this day ww.
I went with Colin and Kylie too which
made it so special and fun!
I was so excited to style my new hair!
I also wore my awesome Hypercore Tee since it seemed
like a good fit for a rock/punk concert.
I also wanted to focus on comfort since the concert was outside
and it was chilly and windy with a small chance of rain!
These photos are all so similar but I had a hard time
deciding so I post all of them..w
Back of hair!
My super sweet friend dropped me off since I was nervous about
the parking situation. Luckily we got there all at the same time!
Unfortunately the venue and staff gave us a lot of issues because
they didn't post any item or bag regulations online
and keept sending us back to the car
after getting our bags checked
This happened twice and I had to speak to a manager since
they were arguing our small bags were too big based on the outside
It was a bit difficult to stay warm but we pushed through!
She ended the concert with a fitting encore of
"Damn Cold Night".
Which it was!!!
Avril was so cute and just the same as she always has!
She was youthful and cheery and AVRIL!
The commute to go home was grueling though!
We were all warned and read online it could take hours to leave.
The concert ended right around 10:45pm.
The venue lot was huge and didn't have more than a couple exit points..
It took at least an hour to see cars start to move and leave our parking space.
After some wild detours in the farm lands,
We finally got back to my car and
I think I got home at around 1am.
Spoilers: I got sick after this concert..
The next day there was supposed to be a Kandi Making party
but I saw last minute it got cancled...
I dressed in decora too! Waaa!
I was a little bummed the event wasn't happening..
My partner ended up taking me to the mall
and we got ice cream!
It really cheered me up!
I got this cute Cookie Monster flavor
and my outfit didn't go to waste, Yay!
It was such a great weekend!
[I ended up getting sick after the concert too...woops]
Thank you for reading!!

(they were fuzzy- after I showed the manager the inside,
he agreed the size was fine).
After the many trips we finally settled in
and got a good spot!
I brought a tarp and some blankets
which worked out great!
The tarp was so big so we shared it with
a super sweet couple next to us!
The first act was Royal and the Serpents and they were amazing!!!
The beauty of her voice truly shines LIVE!
After that was All Time Low...I don't know any of their songs but
I really enjoyed the singers voice live with slower songs. It was really nice!
Finally Avril started the show out with Girl Friend!
It was a greatest Hits Tour so, I think there was only
one song I didn't know and it was a 2019 song.
Singing and dancing with my pals to old millennial tunes
from our youth was so much fun!!
